Fanny Viallard wins her first medal at the World Advanced Aerobatics Championship

The 14th World Advanced Aerobatics Championship (WAAC) took place in Torun, Poland between the 29th of July and the 7th of August 2021 (www.waac2021.eu).


Thirty five pilots from 9 countries (Germany, Czech Republic, France, Russia, Romania, Lithuania, Ukraine, Poland and Spain) participated to this event.


The competition consisted of one free known and 3 free unknown programs.


For Fanny Viallard this was the debut for the French Team and at the same time her first participation to an international competition. Following a courageous evolution, she obtained a 3rd place at the individual second free unknown and an overall 11th place with 76.989%.


Besides the silver medal on the individual free unknown, Fanny also received the trophy for the youngest pilot of the event.


The French Advanced Aerobatic Team obtained a fantastic overall second place. The world title went to Russia while Romania completed the third place of the podium.
